Virginia C. (Kahl) Orewiler, 85, of Mansfield, passed away early Friday morning, Jan. 13, 2017, at Arbors at Mifflin.
She was born July 19, 1931, in Ashland, Ohio, to the late Burlyn and Esther (Mowry) Kahl.
Virginia grew up in Mifflin Township and graduated from Jeromesville High School. She was a homemaker her entire life and enjoyed gardening, cooking and sewing.
She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Richard “Dick” Orewiler; two children, Steve Orewiler and Cheryl (M. Jack) Huff; six grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and brother, Gerald Kahl.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two children, Alvin Orewiler and Kay Jividen and two brothers, Leo Kahl and Harvey Kahl.
There will be no services held at this time. The Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors is privileged to serve the family.
