MANSFIELD — A Mansfield Symphony soloist will team up with the Mansfield Art Center Education staff for The Finger-Painted Sound on Jan. 22 at 2:30 p.m. as part of the Renaissance Theatre’s series of Teddy Bear Concerts.
During this event, children will explore mood & music in this hands-on concert, which will feature several works of art and varying musical selections.
The event will take place on the stage of the Renaissance Theatre in Mansfield, Ohio. Thanks to donors Don and Sharon Granter, ticket prices have been reduced to $5 per person for the Teddy Bear Concerts this season, which are presented as a part of the Mechanics Bank Education Series.
“For $5 per person, tickets to this event would be an excellent holiday gift for any family with young children. Just be sure to dress your children in clothes that can get a little messy, since there’s a possibility of that at this event,” said Colleen Cook, Director of Marketing at the Renaissance.
Inspired by the Kennedy Center’s family programming, the Ren Teddy Bear concerts are set up to allow children an up-close experience with symphonic instruments, live acting, and basic musical concepts.
To provide the most engaging performance possible, the Teddy Bear series can accommodate only 100 concert-goers and their very favorite teddy bears, so these onstage seats fill quickly — grab Teddy and pick out your seats at mansfieldtickets.com.
Teddy Bears enjoy free admission for this series only.
