MANSFIELD — A Mansfield man faces drug charges after METRICH acted on a tip about drug-related activity.
Michael A. Ryan, 45, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of drug abuse instruments after the METRICH Enforcement Unit executed a drug-related search warrant at 33 Malone Road Wednesday evening. The warrant was issued after METRICH received numerous complaints of suspected drug activity.
During the search, detectives seized an assortment of drug abuse instruments and suspected heroin.
Additional charges will be forwarded to the Richland County Prosecutor’s Office for review after testing and analysis of the suspected heroin.
Det. Nicole Gearhart said this is another example of citizens reporting suspicious drug activity in their neighborhood.
