MANSFIELD — Registration for fall classes at Richland Academy of the Arts is happening now! Classes begin the week of Aug. 29.

The academy offers a full lineup of dance, visual arts, and music classes for students age 3-103.

Does your child dream of becoming a ballerina? Starting for the littlest dancer the school offers Creative Movement for 3 year olds. There is also classes for ballet, tap, jazz modern and new this year, Hip Hop.

Adult classes include salsa and ballet.

Does your child want to be a rock star? Back by popular demand isKidzRock, where children ages 4 to 7 have an opportunity to rotate on drums, electric guitar, and keyboard in a rock band setting.

New this year are several group classes in guitar, ukulele, and piano for beginner students ages 5 and up. At keyboard class, students use musical features and improvisation and learn to play in groups (bands) or as an individual.

Through the generous support of the Area Agency on Aging, Richland Academy also offers an extensive schedule for those ages 60+. Students can participate in music, visual arts and dance classes for free (some

classes include a small materials fee).
