Koty Howard, age 21 of Greenwich, died August 12, 2016 at University Hospitals Samaritan Medical Center in Ashland from injuries received in an accident.

Koty was born December 13, 1994 and was a graduate of Buckeye Central High School in New Washington. He was currently employed at Thermo -Tec in Greenwich. He was a professional Motocross Rider and all of his hobbies and interest were dirt bike related. He also enjoyed fishing.

He is survived by his father: Tye Howard (Christy Tolliver) of Greenwich; his mother: Stephanie Inmon of Willard; a brother: Jacob Trent of Crestline; a sister: Emma Howard at home; paternal grandparents: Dan and Martha Howard of Shelby; maternal grandmother: Bernie Bolen-Pugh of Willard; maternal great grandmother: Wanda Lee Bolen of Attica; 2 uncles: Dan Howard, Jr. (Bobbi) of Crestline and Joshua Pugh of Willard; a cousin: Makenna Howard. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather: Steven May.

Friends and family are welcome on Tuesday, August 16, 2016 from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. and 5 – 8 p.m. at the Turner Funeral Home, 168 West Main Street, Shelby, Ohio 44875. Funeral services celebrating the life of Koty Howard will be held on Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home conducted by his great uncle, James Mullins, Pastor of Living Water Church in Crestline. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery in New Haven.
