Dawn Lea McKown passed away Saturday, Aug. 6, 2016 in OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital. She was 74.
She was born Jan. 14, 1942 to parents Charles & Ruby (Heidlebaugh) Berry in Mansfield. Dawn graduated from Mansfield Senior High with the class of 1960.
On April 20, 1985, she married Lanny McKown and they shared 31 wonderful years of marriage together, especially when they were fishing on Lake Erie. Dawn worked at Daugherty’s Restaurant for a time but spent many years working as a babysitter.
The McKown family will receive friends Thursday, Aug. 11, 2016 from 10 to 11 a.m. in the Lexington Avenue Snyder Funeral Home where a funeral service honoring Dawn’s life will begin immediately at 11 a.m. Celebrant Jerry Wilson will officiate.
