Betty J. McKinney, 92, resident of Shiloh died Thursday July 14, 2016 at the Good Shepherd Nursing Home in Ashland.
Born Sept. 7, 1923 in Mansfield to Anton and Elizabeth (Erre) Moritz, she had been a Shiloh resident since 1950. Betty enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, traveling, and camping at Camp Cozy, Sandusky Bay for 41 years.
She is survived by her husband Lloyd McKinney, whom she wed Nov. 30, 1946; two daughters Karen (Jed) Troxel, of Mansfield, Patricia (Gary) Jackson, of Waterford, Maine; one son Ronald McKinney, of Mansfield; three grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; four step-great-grandchildren; sister-in-law Delores McKinney, and numerous nephews and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters Anne Stacco and Caroline Beilstein.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff at Good Shepherd for the extra love and care they provided to Betty during her stay.
A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
