GALION — Anyone ready to hear those summer words “Let’s Play Ball!” has a treat in store this weekend.
The Galion Historical Society will be hosting The Ohio Village Muffins on Sunday, June 26 at PECO Park.
This is an old-fashioned game when the sport was spelled base ball. The rules are a bit different, too, as are the uniforms and gentlemanly behavior that was displayed in 1860.
It’s a doubleheader of fun with the local ladies challenging the Lady Diamonds at noon. The men will play the Muffins at 2 p.m.
