GALION — CSX Transportation has announced that the railroad crossing at South Boston Street in Galion will be temporarily closed to vehicular traffic beginning June 20.

CSX is fixing a defect in the crossing. This is the crossing that divides West Railroad Street at the intersection with South Boston Street.

CSX estimates the crossing will be closed for 7 to 12 days. Drivers should use the South Market Street crossing located two blocks east.
