LOUDONVILLE — Miss Ohio and contestants of the 2016 Miss Ohio Pageant are slated for a fundraising zip line event at Tree Frog Canopy Tours on Sunday, May 15.
Funds raised will go towards the Miss Ohio Scholarship Program, in a repeat of an event conducted there last year to promising success.
“This event is something we look forward to every year and a great cause we’re thrilled to support,” says Madison Christiansen, Chief Operations Operator and Course Manager of Tree Frog Canopy Tours, “Meeting the Miss Ohio contestants, contributing to the scholarship program, and introducing people to our passion of zip line is such an honor.”
The annual zip line event welcomes people ages 10 and up and must weigh at least 75 pounds. Tours are scheduled to start at 9:30 a.m. New groups will embark on the course with two Miss Ohio contestants every 30 minutes until 2:30 p.m.
Participants can zip through the Canopy of the Mohican Forest at a discounted fee of $70 per person.
“What better way to donate to this cause than by zip lining with the contestants? This is a family
friendly adventure that gets everyone involved and having a blast,” said Christiansen.
