MANSFIELD – Chris Hiner, President of Richland Bank, was recently elected to the Heart of Ohio Council, Boy Scouts of America, Executive Board.
He will be part of a 34-member board consisting of community leaders from throughout North Central Ohio. The Heart of Ohio Council encompasses a nine-county area including Richland, Ashland, Crawford, Erie, Huron, Lorain, Marion, Morrow, and Wyandot counties. Annually, the council serves more than 8,300 youth and more than 2,300 adult volunteers.
Scout Executive/CEO, Brad Bodoh commented, “We are excited that Chris had decided to join our board. We are looking forward to his involvement in Scouting.”
Chris is not new to Scouting. He was a member of the Simon Kenton Council Executive Board and a Cub Scout as a youth.
