MANSFIELD — On Friday, April 15, The Mansfield Area Y held its first Pour Your Support event at Ed Pickens’ Café on Main. The event kicked off the Mansfield Area Y’s annual campaign.
Over 125 guests enjoyed hors d’oeuvres, a wine tasting and a silent auction. The event featured a testimonial by keynote speaker Bill Rogers, a participant in the 2015 LIVESTRONG at the YMCA. Rogers reflected on how the Y has helped him thrive after his cancer diagnosis through the LIVESTRONG at the YMCA program.
The Mansfield Area Y was able to raise over $5,500 in donations. The Mansfield Area Y would like to thank all of their guests for their generosity, the staff at Ed Picken’s for their hard work, Cypress Hill Winery for providing the wine, and all of the local businesses who donated items for the silent auction.
