GALION — Jeran Pollock, of Sycamore, has recently been promoted to vice president of Sales/Sales Manager for Elliott Machine Works, Inc.
Elliott Machine Works is a design manufacturer of mobile service equipment in Galion.
Pollock was hired by Elliott Machine Works in June 1997 as a project engineer. In 2001 he made the switch to sales engineer.
As a sales engineer, Pollock helped establish regional distributor representation and created key accounts with large construction and mining operations. He was also credited for establishing a sales presence in the tar sands of Alberta Canada, obtaining many unit orders over the past eight years.
In addition to his duties as Sales Manager, Pollock will be involved with company strategic planning; company sales planning, production planning; engineering and design manufacturing standards.
