GALION — Three people were arrested and more than $366,000 in drugs was seized after a pair of raids in Galion and Bucyrus on Tuesday, authorities stated.

Khabeer J. Brown, 38, with addresses in Bucyrus and Galion was taken into custody with charges pending for possession of crack cocaine and heroin, authorities stated. Two others from Bucyrus, a male and female, were also arrested during the seizures. 

Detectives from both Bucyrus Police Department and Galion Police Department seized crack cocaine, heroin and cash while executing two separate search warrants. One of those warrants was served on a home on Walker Street in Galion and another on Sandusky Avenue in Bucyrus. Both homes were part of an ongoing investigation for suspected drug trafficking, police stated.

According to a Bucyrus police, detectives seized more than four kilograms of crack cocaine, more than 800 grams of heroin and $1,200 in cash in the raids. 

Both departments are being assisted by the Crawford County Prosecutor’s Office and the METRICH task force in the investigation, which continues. Authorities are investigating “asset forfeiture of property, vehicles and proceeds of suspected drug activity,” the release states.
