MANSFIELD — Lind Media Company has acquired more than 500 billboards in the Cleveland, Columbus and Cincinnati areas, according to company vice president Maura S. Siegenthaler.

Financial terms were not disclosed. Included in the transaction are outdoor advertising assets in Richland, Ashland, Wayne, Holmes, Crawford, Morrow, Marion, Knox, Fayette and Clinton counties.

“We are excited to enhance our Outdoor footprint in northern, central and southwest Ohio, bringing hundreds of billboards back into local ownership for the first time in a generation,” Siegenthaler said. “The added network coverage will enable us to better serve advertisers and the communities that rely on billboards to drive commerce and create awareness.”

Mansfield-based Lind Media is Ohio’s largest independent Outdoor advertising company. Organized in 1991, Lind operates over 1,300 billboards in 27 Ohio and Indiana counties. The Lind billboard network consists of strategically placed, high‐profile displays serving medium and smaller markets in several key Midwest areas.
