Judith Lee Partin

Judith Lee Partin, 72, of Mansfield passed away Tuesday evening, March 15, 2016 at home.

The daughter of Garrett and Maude (Hensley) Partin, Judith was born June 6, 1943 in Mansfield and graduated from Bellville High School in 1961.

For over 40 years, Judith worked as a credit professional for A&S Building Systems located in Caryville, Tennessee. She moved home to Mansfield in 2007.

Owning an extensive library, Judith loved to read. She studied family history and even assisted others in genealogical searches.

Judith enjoyed flower gardening and worked hard to nurture her plants. Creative and artistic, she also handcrafted custom jewelry pieces.

She was a member of Mansfield Baptist Temple. Tender-hearted, kind and considerate, Judith loved animals. She also devoted her time working for the ASPCA (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals).

Judith is survived by her son Daniel E. Hale, of Mansfield; brothers Fred (Clara) Partin, of Bellville, and Richard (Cindy) Partin, of Hayesville; sister Linda L. Partin, of Hayesville; as well as numerous nieces nephews and extended family.

Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her siblings: Robert Partin, Lorraine Walters, V. Jean Cline, Dolly M. Hardwick, and Joan Boyer.

Judith’s family will receive friends Friday, March 18, 2016 from 1 to 3 p.m. in the Bellville Snyder Funeral Home where a graveside service will immediately follow in Bellville Cemetery. Pastor Randy Raynes will officiate.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to the ASPCA may be made through the funeral home.
