Paul Worgull-Young

Paul Alan Worgull-Young, 50, of Galion, passed away peacefully with his wife by his side, on Sunday, March 6, 2016, following a courageous battle with cancer.

Paul was born on June 26, 1965, in Cleveland, to Edward J. Worgull, and Patricia I. “Tiny” (Olah) Worgull Young. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He was employed with Covert Manufacturing, until his illness prevented him from working. Paul married the love of his life, Wendi (Jones) Young, on July 13, 2013 and she survives him. He loved his family very much. Paul enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing, watching birds and squirrels, and flying drones. He loved model building, music, Cleveland sports, classic monster movies, and animals. His fur babies were his dogs, Forrest and Tippi, and they were his life-long companions. He was fun loving and his personality was larger than life.

Along with his wife Wendi, he is survived by his daughter, Samantha (Justin) Fahlman of Willowick; step-daughter, Macy Gibbons of Tampa, FL; two siblings, Tina (Tommy) Sorensen of Brecksville and Eddie Worgull of Streetsboro; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Frank and Brenda Jones; several nieces and nephews, including his favorite niece, Krissy Sorensen; and many friends.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents; his step-father, Thelton “Bee” Young; and his sister-in-law, Sue Jones.

Calling hours will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at Werner-Gompf Funeral Services, LTD., 1106 Park Avenue East, Mansfield, OH. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Kevin Evans officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Galion with full military honors.
