Wendy R. Tolar, 59, of Galion, died Thursday, Jan. 28, 2016 at Galion Pointe Nursing Home, after a lengthy illness.
Wendy was born in Tiffin, on June 18, 1956 to the late Leslie Bodkins and Johnetta “Jackie” (Girton) Bodkins, of Galion.
Wendy collected snowmen and her favorite holiday was Christmas. She also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Wendy had worked as a Home Care Aide.
Wendy is survived by her children; Heather (Brian) Smith, of Galion, Travis (Michele) Tolar, of Galion, Zak Tolar, of Galion, Mindy (Josh) Guegold, of Mansfield; two granddaughters, Joscelyn Tolar, Nadia Tolar; five grandsons, Gavin Tolar, Gabriel Tolar, Gage Tolar, Jesse Tolar, Kody Frye; two great-grandaughters, Sophia, Mia; Kyle McKee, her lifetime companion, three brothers; Kenny (Sherry) Bodkins, of Galion, Danny (Billie) Bodkins, of Galion, Mike (Jeanie) Bodkins, of Galion; one sister, Missy Faries, of Galion and her sister-in-law; Beth Bodkins, of Tennessee.
Wendy was preceded in death by her son; Corey Tolar, son-in-law; Paul Roberts and her brother; Lanny Bodkins.
Burial will take place at a later date at Iberia Cemetery.
