Robert Eugene Lee, Sr., 71, of Mansfield, Ohio, passed away on Jan. 10, 2016, at Crestwood Care Center in Shelby.

Robert was born to Robert Ellis Lee and Treva Mae (Miles) Lee, on Jan. 2, 1945.

Robert worked at Mansfield Structural Steel for about 30 years. He loved fishing, painting, and NASCAR. Robert also enjoyed watching baseball, especially the Atlanta Braves, and the Cleveland Indians. He was a very giving man, always making donations to various charities.

Robert is survived by his mother, Treva Mae Lee, of Mansfield; his daughter, Renee Ann Wilson, of Indian Harbour Beach, Florida; his son, Robert E. Lee, Jr., of Greenup, Kentucky; his grandchildren, Amber Daugherty, of Mansfield, Zachary Wilson, of Merritt Island, Florida, Erica Lee, of Arizona, and Kevin Lee-Ailstock, of Mansfield; great-grandchildren, Miles Daugherty, Logan Daugherty, Gracie Mendez, Charlie Church and Rosalyn Church; step granddaughter, Tiffany (Christian) Reil, of Mansfield; step grandson, Tony Freeze, of Titusville, Florida; his brothers, Mike R. (Evelyn) Lee, of Lucas and John W. (Reable) Lee Sr., of Mansfield; and nieces and nephews, Stephanie Lee and Laura Lee Wiseman, both of Lucas, John Lee, Jr. and Jason Lee, both of Mansfield.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert E. Lee; daughter-in-law, Debbie Dixon-Lee; and grandson, Andrew J. Morgan II.

A memorial service conducted by Pastor Matthew Pond, will be held Friday, Jan. 15, 2016, at 6 p.m. in the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Rd. Friends may call beginning at 5 p.m. until the time of the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association or the American Heart Association.
