Timothy Lynn Shepherd, 60, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 15, 2015, in OhioHealth MedCentral Mansfield Hospital following a short battle with cancer.
He was born Oct. 25, 1955 in Mansfield to parents Diamond and Maxine (Long) Shepherd. He graduated from Mansfield Senior High in 1974.
Tim enjoyed hunting, fishing and gabbing with his neighbors. He also loved to read a good mystery novel. His family and friends will miss his easygoing spirit.
He is survived by his mother, Maxine Shepherd, son Donald Shepherd, grandson Myles Shepherd, sister and brother-in-law Loraine and Dale Litt, all of Mansfield. Also surviving are four nephews and a niece: Dale Jr. and Chris Daniels Litt, Julie McKinney, Theodore Litt, Ryan Litt, and Brandon Litt; in addition to numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family.
Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 17, 2015 in the Lexington Avenue Snyder Funeral Home, where a funeral service celebrating his life will take place at 11 a.m. Friday and Pastor Mark Dettmer will officiate.
