MANSFIELD, Ohio – Ohio State Highway Patrol Trooper Jason Beck has been selected 2015 Trooper of the Year at the Mansfield Post.
The selection of Beck, 34, is in recognition of outstanding service during 2015 at the Mansfield Post. Fellow officers stationed at the Mansfield Post chose Trooper Beck based on leadership abilities, professional ethics, courteous treatment of others, enthusiastic work attitude, and cooperation with supervisors, peers, and the public.
Beck was also selected as the Bucyrus District Trooper of the Year and is now in contention for the State Trooper of the Year Award to be announced at a later date.
Beck joined the Highway Patrol in 2012 and has served at both the Bucyrus and Mansfield Posts. Beck was originally from Galion and graduated from Wayside Christian in Bucyrus.
