The Galion Community Chorus will present George Frederick Handel’s “Messiah” on Sunday, Dec. 6, at 3 p.m. This 61st annual tradition will be held at First United Church of Christ, 248, Harding Way West, and is free of charge.
Under the direction of John Sikora of Ashland, and assisted by Patty Neff of Bucyrus on the harpsichord, the chorus and orchestra features local singers as well as professional soloists. Performing this year will be soprano Rebecca Zaner, mezzo-soprano Mary Sue Hyatt, and tenor Derek Jackenheimer.
The church is handicap accessible with parking on all sides of building. A freewill offering will be taken.
