Terry Lynn Hall

Terry Lynn Hall, 61, of Mansfield, died Wednesday, Nov. 25, 2015 following a long battle with cancer. Born October 17, 1954 in Grahn, Kentucky, he was the son of Leo Hall and Opal (Blevins) Owens.

He worked most of his life in the automotive repair industry. For the past 10 years he worked for TK’s Carpets selling and installing carpet. A joker, he enjoyed crosswords, puzzles, brain teasers, old television shows, especially Westerns, game shows and playing football tickets. He also enjoyed watching the Cleveland Browns, Aliens, listening to The Beatles, cornhole and playing cards after family dinners. But his greatest enjoyment was spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Phyllis D. Hall; children, Scott and Melissa Mabe, Stacy and Melissa Hall and Michael Mabe; grandchildren, Sylvia and Steve Winzentsen, Christopher Mabe, Brookelynn Mabe, Ashley Barber, Michaela Mabe, Kaitlyn Mabe, Hunter Pinyerd and Lynna Mabe; his mother, Opal (Blevins) Owens; siblings, Lois Dean, Lut and Shirl Hall, James and Darlene Hall, Marta and Ben Mosier and Holly and Chuck Green; his dog, Kami; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

In addition to his father, Leo Hall, he was preceded in death by a sister, Evelyn Mauk; brothers-in-law, Donald Dean and Larry Hamm; and father-in-law, Calvin Hamm.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to OhioHealth Hospice caregivers and Shelby Hospital Oncology Care Staff for their wonderful care of Terry.
