MANSFIELD, Ohio — The Renaissance Theatre will host its fifth annual Beerfest fundraiser on Saturday, Nov. 7, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Renaissance Ballroom prior to the “GIs of Comedy” show beginning at 8 p.m.
A variety of unique and seasonal beer offerings have been selected by local experts at Mansfield Distributing Co. for the tasting.
Tasting of the following craft beers will be available: Millersburg Brewery French Ridge IPA; Millersburg Brewery Lot 21 Blond Ale; Blue Point Blueberry Ale; Blue Point Toasted Ale; Saugatuck Brewery Starburst Wheat; Saugatuck Brewery Backyard IPA; North Country Brewery Slimy Pebble Pils; North Country Brewery Buck Snort Stout; Rochester Mills Beer Company Lazy Daze Amber; and Rochester Mills Beer Company Milkshake Stout.
Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about each of the unique beers while enjoying a variety of pizza from Gionino’s Pizzeria. Knowledgeable beer aficionados from Millersburg Brewery and Anheuser-Busch will be on-hand to answer questions and provide food-pairing recommendations for attendees.
All proceeds from this event will benefit the Renaissance Performing Arts; the beer selection is donated by Mansfield Distributing Co. and pizza has been donated in part by Gionino’s Pizzeria.
Tickets are $20 each and include eight tasting tickets for pizza and beer; additional tasting tickets will be sold at the event for $1 each. Beerfest event tickets can be purchased online at www.mansfieldtickets.com, at the Box Office, and over the phone at 419-522-2726.
