Terry Trouten

Terry Trouten, 66, of rural Bucyrus passed away Saturday, Oct. 10, 2015 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus after a short illness.

Born June 14, 1949 in Wheeling, West Virginia, he was the son of the late Donald E. and Helen E. (Rogers) Trouten.

He was a graduate of Galion High School in 1968 and attended Grace Brethren Church in Galion. Terry worked as a machinist at the former Galion Iron Works for over 40 years. He enjoyed history, antiquing and mowing his yard.

He is survived by daughter Emily J. (Nathan) Moore of Lima and son Matthew Trouten of Bucyrus; grandson Paul Trouten and sister Carolyn (David) Dunham of Columbus. 

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 15, 2015 at Richardson Davis Chapel of Snyder Funeral Homes, 218 South Market St., Galion, Ohio 44833 where services will follow at 7 p.m. Thursday with Pastor Jeff Pennington officiating. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery in Galion.
