MANSFIELD, Ohio- The United Way of Richland County will be holding its first “stand alone” kick-off for the 2015 campaign on Sept. 22 beginning at 7:30 a.m. In prior years, the annual “Day of Caring” had served as the campaign kick-off, this year those events were split so that both could be more focused. The event will take place at the Renaissance Theatre 138 Park Ave W, Mansfield, OH 44902.
The purpose of this event is to announce the annual United Way Campaign Goal and kick off the annual campaign. The event will also announce totals of its “Pacesetter Companies” and thank them for their contributions to the community.
The event is being sponsored by OhioHealth Med Central and will feature CEO Jean Halpin as keynote speaker.
The United Way of Richland County funds over 50 programs within 24 local, non-profit agencies. These programs focus on four community impact areas: Health Services, Family Services, Emergency Services and Youth Development.
