MANSFIELD, Ohio – The City of Mansfield announced that due to a water valve replacement it will be necessary to issue a boil advisory for the following area:
Poplar Street from Sloane Avenue to Glessner Avenue.
Under a boil advisory it is suggested that all consumed water be brought to a rolling boil for a full 3 minutes prior to consumption. This is a precautionary measure to be taken until samples can be tested to confirm water purity. A notice will be issued at the completion of the test.

Lane closure
Due to road repairs it will be necessary to limit a section of the following road to a single lane while work is being completed.
Lexington Avenue North bound lane from Logan Road to Middle Bellville Road.
The road closure will begin Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2015 at 8 a.m. and is expected to be re-opened by the end of the workday Thursday, Sept. 10.
Construction signs will be posted at the work site. All traffic is advised to plan an alternate route to avoid possible delays.
