Bob Uzunoff, 59, of Mansfield, died July 24, 2015. Born August 28, 1955 in Mansfield, he was the son of John J. and Mary (David) Uzunoff. Bob was a graduate of Madison High School, where he played basketball, ran hurdles for the track team, and played the trumpet. He went on to join the Army and acted as a Sharpshooter in the 101st Airborne Unit. In his free time, he was a Steelers and Nascar fan and enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating, woodworking, and camping. Bob attended Real Life Community Church.
Surviving are his wife, Joan Uzunoff; children, Mindy Uzunoff and Tabitha Uzunoff; step-children, Lorrie (Wesley) Tackett, Jen (Joe) McCollister, Bill (Linda) Bryant, and Mindy Bryant; grandchildren, RJ Lewis, Brittany Lewis, Zander McGrew, and Ember McGrew; step grandchildren, Jordan (Lindsay) Bryant, Jesse (Sarah) Hunter, LeAnne Bryant and Desiree Bryant; great-grandchildren, Cameron, Kaiden, Jordan Jr, and future little Joel; and siblings; Sandra (Jim) Hughes, Sue (Richard) Shrader, and William (Hope) Owens.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents; biological father, William Owens Sr.; siblings, Leroy Lane and Dianna Wheaton; step-son, Aaron Bryant; niece, Victoria Hudak; and nephew, Randy Hughes.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, August 8, 2015 at 12:30 p.m. at Real Life Community Church, 670 Kentucky Avenue, Mansfield, Ohio 44905. A celebration of life picnic will follow at Charles Mill Park and Marina, State Route 430, at 2 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the family. The Wappner Cremation Center is honored to serve the family.
