Helen A. Leonberger, 80, of Galion, went to be with the Lord on Monday, July 20, 2015 at Mill Creek Nursing Center, Galion.

Helen was born in Gimlet, KY on August 11, 1934 to the late John H. and Dovie (Roe) Barker. She made her home with her former husband, Donald R. Leonberger.

Helen has lived in this area since 1950. She was a member of the Crestline Church of the Nazarene. She was employed at Timkin Roller Bearing Company in Bucyrus and the former, North Electric in Galion. She was a good Mom and had a giving heart. She loved the Lord and sought to do His will.

She is survived by her daughter and two sons: Rhonda (Bill) Pierce, Avon, NY, Mark Bauer, Bucyrus, Greg Bauer, Crestline, daughter-in law, Kelly Bauer, Crestline, eight grandchildren; Jason and Jennifer Pierce, Andy and Ryan Pierce, Tasha Osborne, Suni Beach, Brandi Lyons, Brandon and Rochelle Bauer, Hillary Bauer, Katie Bauer, five great-grandchildren, Austin Osborne, Mckenna Osborne, Bentley Osborne, Baylee Pierce, Charley Pierce, her two sisters, Wilma Fields, Crestline and Mavis Cansler, Diamond, MO.

She was preceded in death by her son, John Michael Bauer, her brother, Eugene Barker, and her sister, June Hessey.

Helen will be laid to rest in Greenlawn Cemetery, Crestline, with her son, at a later date.
