Judith “Judi” Portner Balyeat, 74, of Mansfield, died Friday, March 6, 2015. She was born February 26, 1941, in Mansfield, Ohio, to Robert Portner and Martha (Winkler) Wilhelm.
Judi worked most of her life at Tappan Co. and, in later years, worked at Phar-Mor and The Waterford.
She is survived by a sister and brother-in-law, Nicki and Dave Boodey; two nieces, Erin Boodey and Amber Boodey Gnann; and a great-nephew, Trenton Gnann. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Balyeat; father, Robert Portner; and infant brother, Joel Frederick Wilhelm. Her mother, Martha Wilhelm passed away on July 3, 2015.
Private services were held at Mansfield Memorial Park. The Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors is privileged to have been chosen to assist the family.
