Suzanne “Sue” Frances Wander, 55, passed away June 20, 2015 at Colonial Manor Health Care Center, Loudonville, in the arms of her husband following an extended illness. Suzanne was born December 5, 1959 in Poland, Ohio, daughter of Jack and Joanne (Cunningham) Barns.
She married Mark Wander on November 7th, 2004, on the front porch of the beautiful home they built together in Perrysville. Suzanne received her diploma from Poland Seminary High School in 1978. She started working at Dollar Bank before taking a job with Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield Insurance, where her colleagues loved her dearly. She also worked at Westfield Insurance. Suzanne was a loving wife and mother whose smile always lit up the room. She loved spending time with her family and friends, being outdoors, and had an overall love of life that she shared with everyone she met.
Suzanne is survived by her husband, Mark Wander; one daughter, Jaclyn Sudol; one son and daughter-in-law, Edward and Ashley (Hetsler) Sudol; one step-daughter, Jenna Wander; two grandchildren: Raegan Marie and Jack Marshall Sudol; two step-grandchildren; two brothers and sister-in-law: John Barns and Mitchell and Diann Katz Barns; 4 nieces and 1 nephew.
A celebration of Sue’s life will be held Saturday, June 27, from 1 until 4 p.m. at VFW Post #8586 in Perrysville. Memorial contributions may be given to the Green-Perrysville Fire Dept.
