MANSFIELD, Ohio – Richland Pregnancy Services, a local non-profit faith based ministry that supports young women and men when faced with an unplanned pregnancy, will host their annual “Steppin Out for Life” 2 mile walk/5K run on Saturday, June 27.
The event will start at 9 a.m. with registration beginning at 8:30 a.m. The walk and run will be held on the B&O bike trail at the Community Park in Lexington, just behind the ball fields.
Businesses, schools, churches, or youth groups are encouraged to form teams and participate in the walk and run. Those who would like to walk or run can register on line at donor.richlandpregnancy.com. Look for the “upcoming events” or “what’s happening” tab.
Runner registration is $25 pre-registering by June 20. Late registration is $30. Churches can form a “church team.”
Brochures and pledge forms are available by calling 419-522-8863. For businesses who would like to underwrite the event or donate items as prizes call 419-522-8863, Ext 203. Our goal is to raise $30,000. Prizes will be awarded.
All funds raised at the event will go to continue the work of Richland Pregnancy Services, offering free medical & support services to women and men facing an unplanned pregnancy.
