MANSFIELD, Ohio–The Renaissance Theatre launched their 2015-2016 Season on May 19 at their Season Preview Party and made several other major announcements that evening.
The Renaissance has partnered with DRM Productions to create a new logo and branding and develop a new mobile-responsive website at www.mansfieldtickets.com. In addition to the new site, Chairman of the Board Rand Smith announced that the Renaissance received funding from the John and Pearl Conard Foundation to undergo plaster, paint, and silk restoration in summer 2015 to repair damage on the theatre’s interior following the previously repaired roofing and masonry problems.
DRM’s Jay Miller commented, “We decided that a new logo should be the foundation for the look of the website. This new branding gave us a fresh look to build on. Dave Damron and Mike Baldridge spent an afternoon taking photography of the amazing architecture and design elements found throughout the theatre. Using the exiting artwork for inspiration our team came up with a design that carries the classic elements of the original theater into a simple, modern design. The logo is now as memorable and timeless as the elements that have been a part of the theatre since 1928.
Once the logo was finalized it was time to turn the theatre’s online presence into the same enjoyable experience that patrons will have when they arrive for a show. Navigation was simplified to quickly guide you to the information needed. The event list was made simple and tied into the new online ticketing software. The design is now responsive and works on all phones and tablets for those looking to buy tickets on the go!”
