Mabel L. Braden, 70, of Galion, died Monday, May 25, 2015 at Galion Community Hospital, Galion.
Mabel was born in Galion on March 22, 1945 to the late Howard and Margaret (Hoose) Braden.
Mabel was a graduate of Iberia High School. She was retired from HPM, Mt. Gilead after 30 years. She was a member of the Ebenezer United Methodist Church. Mabel was a volunteer for over 10 years for the American Red Cross, Morrow County Chapter. She enjoyed cross stitching and quilting.
She is survived by her two nieces: Ronda & Scott Weisman, Mansfield and Tammy & Matt Powers, Shiloh, her three great nephews Richard & Patsy Green, Salem, AL, and Dylan & Dustin Powers, Shiloh; her great-great nephews Ayden Green and Mason Green and her great-great niece Kennadi Green.
She was preceded in death by two infant brothers Howard Braden, Jr and Ralph Braden; her brother Harold Braden and her sister Ruth Braden.
Friends may call Saturday from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Mark A. Schneider Funeral Home, 303 Portland Way North, Galion. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 30, 2015 at the Mark A. Schneider Funeral Home, Galion, with Pastor Dave Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Galion.
Memorial contributions may be made to Morrow County Red Cross in care of the funeral home.
