MANSFIELD, Ohio – Area Ohio State alumni as well as others who would like to know more about Ohio State Mansfield and alumni opportunities are encouraged to attend Scarlet & Grapes meet and greet from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. June 2 at 1285 Winery at the Blueberry Patch, 1285 Hanley Road, Mansfield.

The OSU Alumni Club of Richland County is sponsoring the event. Alumni who join the Richland County chapter that evening (Dues $25/couple; $15/single) will be entered into a drawing for two OSU President Club football tickets.

Brian White, Program Analyst & Project Manager at Ohio State Mansfield will speak about initiatives both on and off campus, including Eco-Lab, building renovations and the Campus District.

The principal purpose of the OSU Alumni Club of Richland County is to fund scholarships for worthy local students. Buckeye Bash is the major annual fundraiser sponsored by the club.

Because of the club’s work in providing scholarships as well as campus and community involvement, it has been recognized for 25 years with an “Outstanding Club Award” as one of the best of Ohio State’s 229 alumni clubs. The club was awarded the “Gold Star Award” the first 17 years of the existence of the award, (given to a very few of the University’s best alumni clubs), a record unmatched by any other club in the world.
