Ivy L. Revennaugh passed into the arms of Jesus on Wednesday afternoon, May 6, 2015, at the age of 93. She was born May 29, 1921, in Hartley, West Virginia,Wirt County, to the late John Thomas Peters and Icy Watson Peters.

Ivy attended Union School and Ontario High School. She formerly worked at the Credit Bureau, First National Bank and then retired from United Telephone. Her most important job was being a homemaker. She raised her family in Mansfield and spoiled them with her delicious cooking. She enjoyed babysitting her grandchildren whenever she could. She was a member of Main Street United Methodist Church, where she helped with the youth groups.

She is survived by a son, Roger (Norma) Shaull of Mansfield; a daughter, Marjorie Human of Lexington; a stepson, Les (Sharon) Revennaugh of Coshocton; nine grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James D. Revennaugh in 2002; son-in-law, Wiley Human; and all of her siblings and their spouses.

The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday, May 9, 2015, at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Road. The funeral service will follow at 12 p.m. with Rev. Allen Rose officiating. Burial will be in Mansfield Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to MedCentral Hospice or Main Street United Methodist Church.
