BELLVILLE, Ohio – The Clear Fork Valley Local Schools Board of Education recently announced that it is finalizing negotiations with Bradd Stevens for the position of Clear Fork Treasurer.

Stevens is currently serving as treasurer of the Crestline School District. Prior to that, he taught at Fredericktown Schools.

Stevens is a Clear Fork graduate and resides in the district.

“The board believes Mr. Stevens’ background, experience, enthusiasm and personality will compliment that of our administration and staff. We look forward to working with him to strengthen and continue the financial stability of the district as well as providing solid fiscal stewardship of taxpayer funds for the education of our students at Clear Fork,” said Clear Fork Board President Jim DeSanto in a press release dated May 1.

The board anticipates taking action to review and act on the treasurer contract at a special board of education meeting on May 7.

The board extends its sincere thanks to the many candidates that applied and interviewed for this position, noted the press release.

The board also thanked Cheryl Ryan of the Ohio School Boards Association for input and assistance provided during the search process.
