Melanie Frank

Melanie M. Frank, 37, of Loudonville, beloved mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, died unexpectedly Saturday evening, April 25, 2015 in Loudonville. Melanie was born March 27, 1978 in Mansfield and had lived in the Loudonville area most of her life. She was a current employee of the McDonald’s restaurant of Loudonville and had previously worked at Step 2 in Perrysville. Melanie was an avid dog lover, enjoyed riding motorcycles, vegetable gardening, home remodeling, and recently discovered a joy in writing poetry.

She is survived by her son, Damon Sprang of Granbury, TX; her daughter, Jayson Sprang of Granbury, TX; her father, David E. Frank of Perrysville and Warsaw, IN; her mother, Shirley J. (Young) Frank of Loudonville; five sisters: Annette (Tim Brownfield) Reid of Loudonville, Laura (Chris) Daniels of Butler, Amy (Roy) Wilson of Loudonville, April (Kevin Weber) Frank of Loudonville, and Stephanie (Ephriam) Hardowin of Crossroad, TX; and her special friend, Brad Tyler. She was preceded in death by two brothers, David Frank Jr. and Jason Frank; and her brother-in-law, Timothy Reid.

Funeral services will be held Friday, May 1 at 3 p.m. in Lindsey Funeral Home, Loudonville, with Rev. Howard Burnett officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Perrysville. Friends may call Friday, from 1-3 p.m. in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Lindsey Funeral Home to help defray costs.
