MANSFIELD, Ohio — A 40-year-old Mansfield man is in custody after an investigation revealed obscene material involving minors being downloaded at his residence.
Scott Mills, 299 First Ave., was arrested for pandering sexual oriented matter involving a minor. Further charges will be forwarded to the Richland County Prosecutor’s Office for review.
Tuesday morning, the Mansfield Police Department Internet Crimes Unit, in cooperation with the METRICH Enforcement Unit and the Cuyahoga County ICAC, conducted a search warrant at 299 First Ave. in Mansfield. After a thorough investigation, detectives discovered that obscene material involving minors was being downloaded at that location. A search warrant was signed by the Honorable Judge Ardis.
