MANSFIELD, Ohio – The Mansfield YMCA will receive grant funds to purchase items and equipment to support the toddler, preschool and school age programs at two child care centers.
The mission of the Mansfield Y is to build strong kids, strong families and strong communities through caring, honesty, respect and responsibility.
The grant was awarded by Ronald McDonald House Charities® of Northeastern Ohio, Inc. (RMHCNEO).
The mission of RMHC-NEO is to financially support the Ronald McDonald House programs in Akron and Cleveland and to find, create and support programs that directly improve the health and well-being of children.
The grant application was endorsed by McDonald’s Owner/Operator Jeff Monica, owner of McDonald’s® restaurants in Mansfield and was awarded by the RMHC-NEO board of directors.
RMHCNEO was established 28 years ago and has awarded nearly $10 million to children’s groups across 20 counties in northeastern Ohio.
