Charles R. White, 89, of Caldwell, passed away Wednesday morning, February 18, 2015, at Summit Acres Nursing Home. He was born February 16, 1926, in Cadiz, Kentucky, to the late Fenton E. and Christa E. (Wyatt) White.
Charles was a veteran of WWII, serving with the U.S. Navy. He retired as Maintenance Superintendent at Mapleton Schools and the YMCA.
He is survived by two daughters, Susan (Ken) Hyland of Belle Valley, OH and Sheila (Michael) Gleason of Akron, OH; and five grandchildren.
Private family services will be held in Ashland Cemetery. The Ashland Home of Wappner Funeral Directors is privileged to serve the family.
