Hilda A. (Burkey) Ingram, 99, of Mansfield, passed away on Monday, February 16, 2015 following a brief illness.
Hilda was born on October 2, 1915, in Tamaqua, PA, to Samuel and Hannah C. (Sigenfuse) Burkey. She loved her family, and had a very full and active life. She enjoyed crocheting and going to garage sales. She also liked jewelry, especially if there was a lot of bling. She will be missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by three children, Sandra (Jim) Roberts of Shelby, Roger (Lois) Ingram Sr. of Mansfield, and Vicki (Walt) Krauss of Westfield Center; four grandchildren, Roger Ingram Jr., Lori Ingram (Arthur Ash), Mandy Nicole Roberts, and Barbara Harpster; two grandchildren; and her special furry canine daughter, Queenie Ingram.
Hilda was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Andy Ingram; one son, Kenneth Harpster; one grandson, Dale Ingram; and eleven siblings.
Calling hours will be from 11 a.m. to noon on Thursday, February 19, 2015 at Werner-Gompf Funeral Services, LTD., 1106 Park Avenue East (St. Rt. 430E), Mansfield. Funeral services will follow at noon with Pastor Rob Kurtz officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Memorial Park.
