The Richland County Joint Veterans Council is composed of representatives from veterans groups or patriotic organizations of Richland County. All veterans are welcome and encouraged to attend and keep updated on vital information concerning veteran affairs.
The Richland County Joint Veterans Council coordinates and supervises all matters of common concern to our organizations and veterans in general. The Richland County Joint Veterans Council organizes Veteran’s Day ceremonies, conducts the flag ceremony at the Richland County Courthouse to honor deceased veterans, put flags on all of the Veteran’s graves on Memorial Day and supports various patriotic projects.

The Joint Veteran Council meets the fourth Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. at a different Post each month. The February meeting will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 24, at VFW Post # 3494, 853 Ashland Road, Mansfield, OH.
