Joyce Elaine Bell, 83, of Mansfield, died February 10, 2015. Born October 31, 1931 in Mansfield, she was the daughter of Kenneth L. and Hazel I. (Stull) Bell. Joyce worked in the office at Westinghouse for 18 years before working for John Hancock Insurance as a Sales Agent for 22 years, retiring in 1990. She was the first woman agent in the Mid-Central Region. Joyce qualified for 12 honor clubs for her achievement in sales for John Hancock. In her free time, she enjoyed golfing, traveling with her friends all over the country, and spending time on her pontoon boat at Charles Mill Lake.
Surviving are her brothers, Robert S. (Karon N.) of Springfield, OH and Richard L. (Barbara) Bell of Zephyrhills, FL; sister-in-law, Eva M. Bell of Mansfield; nieces and nephews, Carla J. (Thomas) Udhe of Mansfield, Jeff (Neice) Bell of San Antonio, TX, Deborah (Gary) Sattler of Springfield, OH, Timothy (Becky) Bell of Phoenix, AZ, and Steven (Dotie) Bell of Phoenix, AZ; and eleven great-nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Kenneth L. Bell, Jr.
Family and friends are invited to visit on Friday, February 13, 2015 from 5-8 p.m. at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington Springmill Road, Ontario. Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 14, 2015 at 10 a.m. at First Assembly of God, 1000 McPherson Street, Mansfield, conducted by Rev. Thomas Blair. Burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to First Assembly of God.
