Joshua “Josh” Corbin Owens, 22, of Mansfield, passed away just after midnight, Saturday, February 7, 2015. He is now safe and healed in the arms of his Savior, Jesus Christ.
He was born September 5, 1992, in Mansfield, Ohio, and graduated from Mansfield Christian School in 2011. He attended North Central State College and Lee University in Tennessee pursing a degree in music ministry.
Josh was an inspirational young man who was always smiling and could brighten anyone’s day. His generosity and leadership were second to none. Josh was a member of the Prayer Team at both NCSC and Lee University and also was actively involved with the Ohio and West Virginia Children’s Church Camps through the Church of God of Prophecy.
He was an outstanding member of Abundant Grace Fellowship where he was a Bible School Leader and led the Youth Services with his music.
An accomplished musician, playing the piano, trumpet and drums, he was a member of the concert and pep bands at Mansfield Christian School.
