MANSFIELD, Ohio – Authorities have offered a reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of two suspects in the recent robberies of Richland Bank and Chase Bank.
The Mansfield Police Department responded to an aggravated robbery on Dec. 15 at Richland Bank, located at 460 West Cook Road.
Two subjects entered the parking lot in a burgundy, four-door Saturn vehicle with no front plate. They entered the bank just before closing. The masked subjects produced firearms and proceeded to rob the bank. They then fled the bank with an undisclosed amount of money in the mentioned vehicle.
The Mansfield Police Department responded to another aggravated robbery on Jan. 15 at Chase Bank, located at 1094 Lexington Avenue.
Two white male subjects entered the bank just before closing. The masked subjects produced firearms and proceeded to rob the bank. They then fled the bank with an undisclosed amount of money.
The Mansfield Police Major Crimes Unit has been following up several leads. Detectives, along with the Federal Bureau of Investigation, are asking for any information regarding the bank robberies.
