Betty White, 63, of Mansfield, died Sunday, January 18, 2015 at Hospice House in Ashland. Born April 8, 1951 in Mansfield, she was the daughter of George and Marilyn (Washburn) Young.
A homemaker, Betty had worked at Ike’s Restaurant as a waitress and loved to travel with her husband, Larry in their semi truck, traveling the states from 1993 to 2008 often taking over at the wheel. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of 18 years, Larry White; two sons and daughters-in-law, Travis and Aimee Siegal of Barnesville, Ohio and Brady and Debra Siegal of Charleston, South Carolina; 13 grandchildren; three brothers and a sister-in-law, Jim and Ann Young of Marion, George Young of Mansfield and Dennis Young of Mt. Vernon; four sisters and a brother-in-law, Mary McCalla of Canton, Eleanor “Sue” Stahl of Mansfield, Shirley Frank of Loudonville and Debbie and Les Nikolaus of Mansfield; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A Gathering for family and friends will be held from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond Street, Mansfield.
