Crossroads Community Church is pleased to welcome their new lead pastor, Dave Vance.
Prior to joining Crossroads, Vance was the Lead Pastor at Faith Christian Fellowship in Hagerstown, MD. Under his leadership over the past eight years, Faith Christian Fellowship grew from a church of 200 with one staff member to over 1,000 with multiple staff.
Pastor Vance describes his two passions in life as his family and the church. He has a deep passion for connecting God’s Word to everyday life and has been described as a Bible teacher and Community Architect due to his passion for his community.
Pastor Vance has been married to Allyson, his college sweetheart, for 17 years and has four sons (David – 15, Caleb – 14, Jacob – 11, Isaac – 10).
“I am extremely honored and excited to join Crossroads Community Church in its endeavor to transform this community with the gospel of Christ,” Vance said. “I am a firm believer that the church is still the greatest catalyst of change in a community. Specifically, that the presence of Crossroads in the Mansfield area would continue to make a huge difference in providing hope to many lives. I so look forward to partnering with area churches, local officials, and organizations to bring lasting impact to Richland County and the region.”
Vance began his ministry experience in the Washington, D.C., area at a large area church and was the children’s Pastor where he managed over 500 volunteers from 1999-2003 and also served as Young Adult Pastor from 2003 – 2007, connecting college campuses with church ministry.
He also served as a Professor at Washington Bible College teaching Bible/Theology and currently trains 50 Pastors in Nicaragua 4 times a year
He also served as President of the Board at the Hagerstown Area Pregnancy Center.
Pastor Vance graduated in 1999 from Washington Bible College with a B.A. in Bible/Theology and an emphasis in Pastoral Studies and Graduated in 2003 from Capital Bible Seminary with an Masters of Divinity. He is currently working on a Doctorate of Ministry
