MANSFIELD, Ohio. – The Ohio State University at Mansfield Department of Theatre is conducting auditions at 7p.m. Jan. 20 and 21 in Founders Auditorium on the Mansfield campus for the spring production of “Two by Two,” a musical comedy with music by Richard Rodgers, book by Peter Stone, lyrics by Martin Charnin, and based on the play “The Flowering Peach” by Clifford Odets.
Auditions consist of readings from the script, a simple dance sequence, and 16 measures of a song. Accompanist provided. Please bring sheet music.
“Two by Two” is the vaudeville-style retelling of the story of Noah and teaches us that being chosen for great things does not simplify the daily demands of family life.
