Annabelle (Dunn) Royer

Annabelle (Dunn) Royer, 85, went home to be with her Lord on December 31, 2014, at her residence after a short illness of pancreatic cancer.

Ann was born in Newark, to Lloyd Dunn and Ida Opal McGinnis-Brinkman on January 12, 1929. She grew up in the Butler area but lived most of her adult life in Mansfield. Ann worked at Ideal Electric for 25 years where she retired in 1990. She enjoyed traveling in her younger years, especially to Hawaii and also visited Israel twice.

She also enjoyed reading her Bible, canning fresh vegetables from her garden, and growing and watching her flowers bloom in the spring and summertime.

She attended Faith Baptist Church in Ontario, as well as several other Baptist churches in the area.

Ann is survived by her devoted husband of 28 years Leonard Royer. She is also survived by two children Judy (Shenberger) & (Thomas) Boone and Joseph (Tammy) Fox; grandchildren Holly (Jason) Miguel, Stacey (Joe) Bidwell, Amanda (Kenneth) Jollay, and Joseph Fox, Jr.; seven great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; two brothers James (Myrna)Dunn, John (Ruth) Dunn; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her second husband Claude J. Fox; her 2 year-old son Robert Lester Shenberger; three brothers Robert Dunn, George Dunn, and William “Billy” Brinkman; her step mother Minnie Dunn and step father William Brinkman.

The family will receive friends Friday, January 2, 2015 from 4-7 p.m. in the Finefrock Chapel of the Marion Avenue Snyder Funeral Home where the funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday January 3, 2015. Pastor Dave Davenport will officiate and burial will follow at Mansfield Cemetery.
